BIOGRAPHY: A man of diverse academic interest and ability, Kelvin dela Paz teaches PreAlgebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Mr. dela Paz has been teaching mathematics since 2002. He spent 6 years at Palau Mission Academy teaching Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Precalculus, and Physics. In 2008, he and his family relocated to Guam to serve in the academy.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in math education from the University of the Philippines and recently earned his master’s in education from the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies. He is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. When he is not busy teaching and preparing his lessons, he spends his time with his wife Marie, a concert pianist, and their two little boys, Kurt and Matt. His interests include graphic arts, music, and solving problems. His goal is to bring each student to Christ as they excel in their academics and develop their love for learning. EDUCATION:
