BIOGRAPHY: Marie Dela Paz has been the music teacher at Guam Adventist Academy for the past two years. She began teaching private piano lessons in 1992 and her career as a music teacher began in 1997 in Cavite, Philippines where she taught preschoolers. She then moved to Palau in 1999 where she continued teaching piano lessons. In 2003, she moved to Brunei and taught piano lessons for 2 years before going back to Palau in 2005 as a music teacher. In 2009, she started teaching at Guam Adventist Academy. Her classes include teaching music reading and theory, handbells and tone chimes, and piano lessons.
Mrs. Dela Paz is passionate about her students’ developing a love for music and using their God-given talents to glorify their Creator. Under her guidance and supervision, GAA holds two musical plays, handbell choir musical outreach, and an annual piano recital. EDUCATION:
