Algebra II

Course Description

Algebra II is designed to reinforce and build upon the concepts taught in Algebra I and Geometry. This will include the study of functions (linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic), trigonometry (triangular and circular), series and sequences. Particular emphasis will be given to understanding underlying concepts and how they may be applied to practical applications.

Prerequisite

The student should have successfully completed Algebra I before studying Algebra II.

Topic Outline

In broad strokes the topics covered are:

  • Linear Functions
  • Linear Systems
  • Matrices
