GAA has a diverse student body with an array of different talents, backgrounds and ideas. Amidst the busyness of classes, extracurricular activities, and community service, students are able to develop interpersonal relationship skills and learn to cooperate with others around them. The small student-to-teacher ratio allows each student to receive more focused attention in the classroom. The friendships that are made here at GAA are also those that can be cultivated for a lifetime. Here at GAA, we strive to mold our students into driven, well-rounded students by creating an environment of learning not only in the classroom but outside the classroom as well.
STUDENT ACTIVITIES
A wide range of activities are provided at GAA for our students to develop more than simply their academic skills but their physical, social and spiritual abilities as well. Among the many activities provided at Guam Adventist Academy are clubs, intramurals, church-related activities, community service and leadership. Mission trips and conferences are also promoted at the school for students to be exposed to the needs of the world and develop Christian characters.
Students at GAA have the privilege of being surrounded by a plethora of activities. Some of these activities are provided by the Student Association, sports program, and other extracurricular activities provided at the school. Students are also presented with opportunities to be involved with global efforts of developing character through such activities as mission trips and conferences. For a more detailed description of the events going on at GAA, please see our school calendar.
