GAA Kindergarten (K3-K5) Class

Supply List for SY 2010-2011

***Please Label All Supplies Individually***

Please have the following items when class starts on August 12.

  • Backpack – must fit in the classroom cubby.  No rolling backpacks please.
  • Change of clothes (Label each piece with child’s name in plastic bag)
  • Water Bottle or Sippy Bottle (refillable, non-disposable, must have a leak-proof seal)
  • Construction Paper, multi-colored, 8 ½ x 11
  • Tracing Paper
  • Crayons, box of 24  *Preferred: Crayola
  • Colored Pencils, set of 12.  * Preferred: Crayola Classic
  • Markers, Washable, set of 8 basic colors.  *Preferred: Crayola Classic
  • Watercolor Paint, 8 color set.  *Preferred: Crayola
  • Glue, White Liquid, 8oz.  No colored or gel please. *Preferred: Elmer’s All Purpose
  • (4) All-Purpose glue sticks.  No colored or gel please. *Preferred: Elmer’s or Scotch
  • (6) Pencils, Regular #2.  No mechanical pencils please.  *Preferred: Papermate or Dixon
  • Scissors, 6-inch pointed, blunt tip, stainless steel
  • Eraser, Chunk.  *Preferred: Papermate or Staedtler
  • Sturdy (Plastic) Portfolio/Folder with two inside bottom pockets.
  • Composition Book, wide-ruled (NOT college-ruled), ½” thick hardcover with stitching down center
  • For New Students only: Plastic Art smock
  • Large Box of Facial Tissues
  • Paper Towel Roll each semester
  • Hand Sanitizer (approx. 8oz), with pump
  • Box of Ziploc Bag, gallon size, 24 count
  • Box of Band-Aid
  • Disposable Wipes (in a tub dispenser please – refills dry out after opening).  *Preferred: Huggies or Pampers
  • Small Blanket for Naptime (No sleeping bags, No foam or fiber-filled mats of any kind, no pillows)

Plastic containers (from yogurt, pudding, apple sauce, cottage cheese, sour cream, etc.)

Egg carton

Bottle caps

Old Magazines with pictures of animals, children, families, food
